✅ Eligibility Criteria for UGC NET 2025

🎂 Age Limit

For JRF: Under 30 years as of 1st June 2025
(Relaxation of 5 years for OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD, Third Gender, and women applicants)

For Assistant Professor & PhD Admission: No upper age limit

🎓 Educational Qualifications

Master’s Degree Holders:

General/EWS: Minimum 55% marks

OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender: Minimum 50% marks

Eligible subjects: Humanities, Social Sciences, Languages, Computer Science, Electronics, etc.

Final Year PG Students:

Can apply provisionally if awaiting results.

4-Year UG Degree Holders:

Must have at least 75% aggregate marks or equivalent.

Eligible for JRF & PhD (Not eligible for Assistant Professor)

Final Semester UG Students:

Eligible to apply provisionally under set UGC guidelines.
